  Divorced: It appears that the Divorce may not have actually gone ahead, as the petition from John was withdrawn as stated in Gisborne Times, 8 Sept 1921. They had been separated for 3 years, and John was the petitioner. John changed his name around this time to John Stephen Miller. He also met Lillian Rosina Patty and they had 2 children together. Joyce Miller - 1923 - 2010 Selwyn John Miller - 1933 - 2013 (Lillian was born 25 Feb 1903, Gisborne, and died 26 Sept 1994, Mangere East, Auckland) John withdrew the petition 8 Sept 1921, they had already been separated for 3 years.
