  Marriage Notice: WEDDING FLIPP- LEVIN Two well-known Kilbirnie families were united by the marriage which took place recently of Priscilla Agatha, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs S A Levin, "Antibes," Evans Bay Road, to William John, elder son of Mrs Flipp and the late Mr Frank Flipp, 256 Coutts Street, Kilbirnie. The bride wore a moon blue wool coat trimmed with Canadian sable, a matching felt hat with a coque feathered cockade, and accessories to tone. At the reception, which was held at the Hotel Waterloo, Mr and Mrs Levin received 120 guests, including many prominent business people. A victory wedding gesture was the presentation by the bride's father of £500 to the Victory War Loan. A tier of the wedding cake was sent to friends serving with the Forces in the Middle East. Mr and Mrs J F Flipp's future home will be at Kilbirnie.
