  Research Note	A lovely story about Peter, has come to me via one of his nephews - Roger McMilan: "Peter was a very much perfectionist, particularly when it came to his car. He never drove it himself ... a neighbour used to chaffeur him on fine days only and usually for a Sunday drive. The car was never driven in the rain and after an outing it was washed and polished all over and that included polishing under the mudguards as well as on top. It was always under a dust cover sheet."
