  	BRASELL James Walter On June 11 1984 at Christchurch Hospital, husband of Ethel, loving father of Yvonne McCashin (Carterton) and a loved brother of George, Irene Herrick (Nelson) and Zita Hayward. (Suddenly). Flowers respectfully declined. The Funeral Service will be held in our chapel, 19 London St, Tomorrow ( Thursday) at 2.30pm and then to the Bromley Cemetery.
  Research Note	Nancy Gray from Carterton has been in contact with me regarding the Brasell family. She has a very extensive family history of the Brasell's. Please contact me to obtain contact details with Nancy as I am sure she would be very interested in any contacts. Attached is a wonderful family photo showing Frederick James (Jim) Brasell, father of James Walter Brasell. According to the NZ Online Database, Jim's parents - Robert and Eliza had 13 children. They lived in the Timaru area and many of them were fisherman.
