Born at Glasgow Scotland she came to Ponoka, Alberta in 1904 and practiced as a nurse until coming to Calgary in 1920. surviving are a daughter, Mrs Bert (Violet) Keeler, Calgary; two sons, William and Jock, Vancouver; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren. Mrs Innes was predeceased by her husband Police Constable J W (Jock) Innes in 1943. Services at "The Little Chapel on the Corner" (Jacques Funeral Home) Monday at 1.30pm. Rev H Lindsay Simpson officating. Interment Burnsland Cemetery.

This is the last will and testament of me Susan Innes of the City of Calgary in the Province of Alberta, Widow.
I give devise and bequeath the whole of my estate, both real and personal, legal and equitable, and whether in possession or expectancy, including all property over which I may now or hereafter have any power of appointment, to my four step-children; George Innes, now living at 19 Charter House Lane, Perth, Scotland, William Innes, of the City of Vancouver in the Province of British Columbia, John Innes of the said City of Vancourver, and Violet Keeler of the said City of Calgary, Married Woman, share and share alike.
I appoint the siad William Innes, John Innes, and Violet Keeler to be Executors of this my Will.
That the deceased at the time she made her will was 67 years of age.
That the said deceased at the time of her death was unmarried and left her surviving three lawful children, namely, the said William Innes, aged 58yrs, of 518 East 15th Street, North Vancouver in the Province of British Columbia, the siad John Innes, aged 57yr, of 1046 12th Avenue West Vancouver in the Province of British Columbia, and the said Violet Keeler, aged 55yrs, of 2703 15th Avenue SE Calgary in the Province of alberta, none of whom are mentally or physically disabled and by reason thereof unable to earn a livlihood.
