  	FUNERAL NOTICE The Friends of Mr James Grubb are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral of his late wife, to leave his Residence, London Street, Lyttelton, on Tuesday, at 8.15PM for the English Cemetery. W RADCLIFFE OBITUARY Very keen regret was expressed in Lyttelton on Saturday afternoon, when it became known that Mrs Grubb, wife of Mr James Grubb, an ex-Mayor of the borough, had passed away. The deceased lady, who was in her fifty-second year, was a native of Elgin, Scotland, and came out to Lyttelton twenty-nine years ago, in the ship City of Dunedin. she was married in the following year, and has resided in Lyttelton ever since. Mrs Grubb, who had been in failing health for a considerable time past, leaves a family of five daughters and two sons. The flags on public and private buildings throught Lyttelton were hoisted at half-mast as a mark of respect for the deceased lady. The funeral will take place on Tuesday afternoon.
