  	I am unable to locate the birth/ baptism of James Miller at this stage. I have assumed Cavers Roxburghshire from the details on the marriage, but actual place of birth is unknown. Information regarding his date of birth has come from the Birthday Book of his Great Granddaughter Helen Miller who married William Elliot.

  	No burial located at this stage - Jan 2015 Therefore uncertain of any dates or places in which James or Isabel would have died, but most likely the Cavers area.

  Research Note	Years ago as a child, I was given to me by my Grandmother, 2 Birthday Books. These little books are invaluable as they have dates of all the Elliot and Miller families. The early writing is in my Great Great Grandmother's handwritting - she was Helen Miller who married William Elliot. She has recorded the birth date but not the places of people born. But she has recorded the dates of births of James Miller her Great Grandfather, William Miller her Grandfather and of course her Father James Miller. I do not know the occupation of James Miller born 1719, but his son William Miller was a Weaver, so James may also have been a Weaver or an Ag Lab at the different Farms. The area in which James Miller lived is south of Hawick and no where near the actual place named Cavers - but from the Old Maps, the area he lived in was Part of Cavers. Unfortunately due to large gaps in the births of the known children it is hard to work out the normal Scottish naming pattern, but if correct then the first born daughter is named after the Mother's Mother in which case would also be Isabel. More research and resouces need to be viewed to confirm further details.
